Aveanna 5th Year Anniversary

We took our Big 5 up in the elevator, because we can only go up from here!

I feel so excited to be a part of the 5 year celebration! Thank you Aveanna for making this a special an fun day we can all participate in! I enjoyed being able to exhibit my artistic side.

"We placed the candles at the significant spots of Aveanna's 5 years: From the beginning of the merger, to the addition of Premier, a candle in New York for when we went public, and the 5th for when we are across the entire nation."

Our team in Des Moines joined in the celebration by creating the words AVEANNA and FIVE out of our staff! We made a human alphabet....individuals, part of a team!

'These are mini ombre cakes that I thought would look so cute in the Aveanna colors. These are individual desserts, which show our individuality, while still being part of a team (they all come from the same larger cake). In Home Care, you have to be able to work independently, while still being part of the team.' - Julie S

"I chose to make this modified Thumbprint Cookie because I thought it really represented what we do. Each person’s thumbprint is unique---so are each of our clients. We make a special care plan for each one, respecting their individual wants/needs/situation. Nothing is Cookie Cutter about what we do for them. Aveanna embraces inclusion, and outcomes and satisfaction are part of our 5 Cs. I felt this was not only a yummy but accurate description of how we do business and how we care for clients." - Julie S

Through a pandemic, working from home, and staffing shortages, we have continued to serve our patients in our community, continuing to provide excellent service and care to those in need. We are honored to celebrate five years of success and look forward to many, many more!

I love the idea of being employed by a forward thinking organization that has encourages employees to take part in inclusion days and fun days! I have been working since I was a kid and it is neat to finally work with and for people that even have a division called people services. All this and we get to help sick people feel better. So Neat! Happy Birthday Aveanna!
