“One of my favorite cookies is the Thumbprint Cookie. You bake them part way, then remove them from the oven, push your thumb (or the back of a spoon) into them to create an indentation, and put them back into the oven. After you remove them and they are cool, you can fill them with jam, frosting, or even melted chocolate. I chose this modified Thumbprint Cookie because I thought it really represented what we do. Each person’s thumbprint is unique – so are each of our clients. We make a special care plan for each one, respecting their individual wants/needs/situation. Nothing is Cookie Cutter about what we do for them. Aveanna embraces inclusion, and outcomes and satisfaction are part of our 5 Cs.
